Well, it looks like the arrival of Kid Cudi's “Man On The Moon III” is officially on its way! Earlier this week on October 26, Kid Cudi released a video on social media depicting the third upcoming installment to his Man on the Moon series. Wrapping up the trilogy that started over 11 years ago, adding to the collection of albums that have impacted fans all over the world.
The Teaser itself reflects on previous Cudi projects, while also giving a glimpse of what to expect from MOTM III. Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon saga, first debut on G.O.O.D. Music all the way back in 2009, with its first release The End Of Days following The legend of Mr. Rager in 2010. Since then, fans have kept a telescope eye on Cudi waiting patiently for the next sequel. However, the MOTM saga wasn’t his only focus, Cudi has gone on to drop plenty of amazing projects, with each album introducing us to a new wave of Cudi. Such as Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven and Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ and KIDS SEE GHOSTS, a collaboration album he did with Kanye West.
Back in 2016, in an interview with Billboard, Cudi addressed that fans should forget about the album altogether. He said, “I don’t even feel obligated to do Man on the Moon 3 anymore,” “As of right now, people should just get that off their mind. That’s not ever going to happen.” That was until recently, during his recent collaboration with Eminem, “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shaddy” according to GENIUS, Cudi went on to say “The trilogy continues, Serving n-ggas, yes, see what's on the menu” hinting that the next Man on the Moon chapter was officially in the works.
Fans, including myself, are not only excited about a new Kid Cudi album, but also the fact that he has plans to release two additional albums, one with Travis Scott and the other with Entergalactic. With Cudi’s sound constantly evolving, it’s thrilling to imagine what the Moon Man has stored.
