One year after the release of "Rare", her third solo album, Selena Gomez begins a new stage in her career with a brand new single.

What is the song about?

“De Una Vez" was written and produced by Tainy, a reggaetón artist that worked with famous Latin artists such as Bad Bunny, J Balvin & many more.

But also, Albert Hype, Jota Rosa, and Neon16.

As an echo to "Lose You To Love Me", Selena speaks about her recovery from an intense and painful love affair, with infinite warmth and joy.

The song is very empowering and its lyrics are very meaningful.

Anyone who has been through a breakup will certainly get the message.

Music Video

Selena Gomez worked with Tania Verduzco and Adrien Perez for the production of the music video.

"We created this heart called the Milagro in Hispanic culture. "explains Tania. It’s a sparkle represents a glimmer of hope in the healing process. - Vogue

Selena Gomez always comes through with the visuals, she did it once again and gave us an amazing simple touching beautiful music video.

Why in Spanish?

Selena Gomez explained on Apple Music, that she is proud to be able to reconnect with her Mexican roots and that she is targeting a newer audience.

She always wanted to sing in Spanish and it finally happened!

It’s truly a whole different vibe because we are so used to hearing Selena sing in English, she is so brave to go back to her roots and try something new.

The only negative thing i have to say is that the song is too short, we deserved more.

She probably wanted to see people’s reaction first and give us a glimpse of what she has in store for her new upcoming era.

We can already say that she is in a better place and that she is slowly healing and she is more confident now and that’s the best way to start 2021.

She got a whole Spanish album coming very soon, so stay tuned for that.
